Brian Patrick picked up his dad’s guitar as a child and never put it down. By the age of fourteen his first band was playing in college bars near Kent State University. Years later, after a road trip led him through Austin, Texas Brian was undeniably drawn to “The Live Music Capital Of The World.” There he was a member of the local group Mr. Goldtooth. Since settling in Charlottesville, Virginia however Brian has matured as a musician and songwriter. Charlottesville’s “Small Town Feel” and rich culture has been the perfect catalyst for his musical growth. Brian independently released his first album “Nowhere Left To Fall” in 2010. He has been recognized in several song writing competitions one of which awarded him first prize for his song Beaujolais. Brian Patrick is extremely grateful to work with musicians as dedicated as those who make up the BPB. Their talent enriches his original songs and they enjoy making new and exciting music together.

Steve is another Staunton, VA native. He has been playing locally and regionally since the mid 1990’s with his band Sun-Dried Opossum. In late summer 2009 Steve first heard BPB at a local bar and was instantly drawn to the sound. Steve “had” to record them. After recording a 3 song demo for BPB and sitting in at a gig, Steve was asked to join the band. He purchased a pedal steel and three weeks later played his first gig with BPB. Steve’s guitar playing is rooted in classic rock, blues and country. His pedal steel playing adds a very unique sound to BPB. With the BPB as his main focus he still splits his time playing with SDO and other local acts along with recording bands and solo artists at his home studio. He is a music lover.
